STEMRES Academy helps people, businesses and institutions grow and adapt through practical learning, modern tools and programmes designed around their needs.

Building capability for a changing world

STEMRES Academy is the skills and capability-building arm of STEMRES.

Our work builds on STEMRES' experience across research, technology, education and development, turning knowledge and evidence into practical learning that people and organisations can apply.

Rooted in STEM education and professional development, the Academy now responds to today's needs: digital and AI capability, workforce readiness, enterprise development and modern work practices.

Our focus is simple: help people build useful skills, and help organisations develop the capability to put those skills to work.

What We Do

Our work focuses on three connected areas.

Enterprise Capability

Helping businesses work better and grow.

We partner with local traders, entrepreneurs, and small businesses to modernize operations and strengthen processes through targeted training and hands-on exposure to modern technologies. Through practical workshops, we equip business owners to leverage digital tools and AI for strategic planning, targeted marketing, task automation, and financial budgeting.

Workforce & Youth Skills

Preparing young people for today's workplace.

We help young people develop practical skills for work, business and an increasingly digital economy. Our programmes combine workplace skills with digital capability, AI-assisted productivity, communication, problem-solving and career development. We also work with employers to create better pathways into work experience and employment.

Educators & Trainers

Helping educators teach and train for today's world.

Drawing on STEMRES' history in STEM education and teacher development, the Academy supports teachers, lecturers and trainers to strengthen their practice for a changing learning environment. Our work covers digital pedagogy, AI in teaching and learning, curriculum development and train-the-trainer programmes that develop local trainers and assessors.
